What a great trekking experience I had to the summit of Mera
Peak under the superb leadership of Dawa Geljen Sherpa. His organizational
skills are second to none and he always got the best from his
team of guides, cooks and porters. When the going got tough -
which it did for everyone from time to time - Dawa was there to
encourage us all to go on and achieve what for many of us was
a lifetime's ambition.

Big thanks to Adventure Thamserku for making our trip so memorable.
Everything went like clockwork and I cannot wait to get back to
see everyone again. We went to Nepal anticipating great scenery
(which didn't disappoint), but came home more in love with the
Sherpa people. Dawa and his team have so much knowledge of the
area, I don't think there was a question we asked that they couldn't
answer. I've now made several friends for life, thank you all
so much!

Having never been to Nepal, I was not prepared for the stunning
landscape through which Dawa expertly guided my small party. His
knowledge of the local cultures, traditions, flora and animals
meant that our group was immersed in an amazing journey....
Dawa's strong network of contacts immeasurably increased our
own experience of this fantastic geography - we were treated to
the best local food and had the pleasure of superior rooms...
Dawa welcomed us into his own family - the highlight being afternoon
tea with his mother, wife and son in Lukla during a ceremonial
blessing by local monks...
We were continually impressed by the measures Dawa took to ensure
the safety and welfare of his own porters..... Dawa's constant
monitoring of both our physical and mental/emotional condition
through the higher altitude terrain brought strong reassurance
and boosted our own morale... It is testament to Dawa's close
supervision that each member of our party successfully completed
all of the amazing highlights - whilst members of an alternative
group did not….
I would not hesitate to recommend Dawa for any guided treks
through Nepal... His professionalism and manners are an outstanding
example of the service levels other trek guides should seek to
achieve.

I have known Dawa for 3 years and have been on 3 treks with
him... Dawa's experience makes the treks go smoothly. His greatest
concern is for us, his clients and he takes nothing for granted
when leading a group....
Tents, ground cover sheets, foam underlay, boots, altitude chamber
and where needed ropes are all of the highest standard. The staff
he employs have the same attitude as him, and nothing is too much
trouble for them, whether it be taking a picture or helping you
over a section of slippery rocks.... I highly recommend him and
his company Adventure Thamserku.

The trek to Everest Base Camp with Adventure Thamserku was an amazing experience that I shall
never forget. Dawa and his guides and porters looked after us extremely well and I would
have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to anyone.
I hope to be able to trek in Nepal again one day and will definitely choose Adventure Thamserku.

Our guide, Dawa Geljin Sherpa showed the utmost care with our trekking group.This was my first trek in the Himalaya and I feel completely safe and cared for by the most professional guide and trekking team throughout the trip. As a result, I throughly enjoyed my visit to Nepal and Dawa's level of service and would have no hesitation in recommending him to other begineers who are thinking of trekking in Nepal and are not sure where to start and who to go to.
